Hi, I'm Fred. I built this for real connections.
I'm Dutch. I grew up here, so I know the streets and the small quirks of daily life. I've also spent years watching international students arrive full of excitement. Then they quietly struggle with things nobody warned them about: homesickness, loneliness, grey winters, and the slow work of building a life that feels like yours.

I saw it happening again and again. I couldn't look the other way.
So I built Fred Connect. Not as a product, but as a promise. You don't have to figure all of this out alone. There's someone here who knows how things work. Someone with time for your questions who genuinely cares how you're doing.
